Wheels and waves

We picked up our wheels today from Snap Rentals. It's a nice little motor , lilac he said the colour  is so not the usual white we were expecting. Lesley took the first stint with a drive to Karekare a small coastal inlet with black sand, and a single track in places dropping from the forest to an alternative community with a few houses. A wade across the river takes you onto the big beach with BIG waves. A paddle and lunch then I took the "Lilac" back to Brian 's for the last night in Auckland.
Barby and beer to finish the day before we drive up north to take over Puke Cottage for 3 nights.
