Queenstown to Te anau

Drove down this morning through summer to winter and back to glorious summer in just a few hours. No more than 30kms away, 14C and raining.
Bob and Maxine  backpackers in Te anau , head of fiordland for 5 nights. Just on edge of town, lovely setting with arguing lammas and alpacas in the field next to us.
Views into the snow capped mountains from my seat! Boat trips organised, weather better behave as it's wet country now. Low twenties is some relief though!
